Drying consists of two steps. The refrigerated dryer first removes most of the water from the air, reducing the dew point down to PDP +3°C.
A further reduction in the dew point is achieved with the adsorption dryer. The dryer is simpler to operate than a conventional heat-generating adsorption dryer, whilst the average compressed air loss is only up to 4.61 TP3T.
