These compressor series are specially designed to feed biogas upgrading plants. Their role is to increase the inlet gas pressure while simultaneously improving gas quality, ensuring a more efficient and reliable process.
Inlet pressure: up to 1000 mbar(g)
Operating pressure: up to 25 bar(g)
Supply of gas: up to 4500 Nm³/h
Absorbed power: up to 700 kW
Wet gas is drawn through a water separator filter with automatic condensate drainage and then passes through a suction valve for further treatment. Due to the presence of H₂S, CO₂, or other aggressive contaminants in the gas, all components in contact with it are made of stainless steel or appropriately protected. During the gas compression process, oil is injected into the pump unit to perform three main functions: lubrication, sealing, and heat absorption. The oil, operating in a closed circuit with a gas/oil reservoir, is pressurised to flow through an oil cooler and then filtered before being reinjected into the screw compression chamber. The gas flows through a minimum pressure/check valve and then towards a cooler, where impurities are removed before being discharged and leaving the package in optimal condition.
