Challenge
At Reiling Glasrecycling Danmark in Næstved, it was found that the existing compressed air solution could no longer keep up with the increasing demands of production. The primary 75 kW compressor had become too small, and an older 55 kW backup compressor often had to run to cover the consumption. At the same time, an analysis showed that both the compressed air capacity and the air treatment were undersized.
Solution
Dansk Trykluft Industri therefore carried out a consumption analysis and developed a new solution, where the compressed air station was upgraded with a frequency-controlled 210 kW screw compressor as well as a new dew point-controlled adsorption dryer. At the same time, the installation was optimized with improved piping and repair of leaks.
Result
With the new installation, the compressed air supply has become both more reliable and future-proof. At the same time, energy consumption has been reduced, and a backup compressor is ready during service, ensuring high uptime in production.
Challenge
When Knuthenborg Safaripark was to establish their dinosaur exhibition, there was a need for a reliable solution to control and operate the many moving dinosaur figures. At the same time, the installation had to be discreet and quiet, so the underlying technology would not disturb the guests’ experience in the park.
Solution
The solution was a 30 kW compressor combined with a central control system, ensuring stable compressed air for the movement and operation of the dinosaurs. The compressor system was installed in a concealed container, which both reduces noise and keeps the installation out of sight for the park’s guests.
Result
The result is a stable and reliable solution, where the dinosaurs can move and appear lifelike to visitors in the safari park. At the same time, the concealed and low-noise installation ensures that the underlying technology does not affect the park’s natural surroundings.
