The F-drive is a compact and quiet screw compressor with direct drive and frequency control, developed for companies that want stable compressed air with low energy consumption. The series is built with an oil-cooled permanent-magnet motor and an efficient compressor stage, which together deliver high efficiency and operational reliability. The F-drive is typically used in industry and workshops where compressed air that follows consumption is needed – without unnecessary idling losses.

Why choose a frequency-controlled F-drive?

When compressed air consumption varies throughout the day, traditional load/unload compressors can use an unnecessary amount of energy when idling. F-drive automatically adjusts performance as needed, ensuring more efficient operation and better control over energy costs. At the same time, you achieve a more stable supply for production and pneumatics.

With SCD (speed control) technology, energy savings of up to 35% can be achieved, as the compressor runs precisely in line with current demand – without costly periods of idling.

High-efficiency permanent magnet motor

The F-drive is equipped with an oil-cooled permanent magnet motor, designed for high efficiency and stable operation. The motor's energy efficiency corresponds to IE4 level or better, and the cooling is independent of speed.

Stable pressure and quieter operation in production

The F-drive can deliver constant network pressure, which can be steplessly regulated from 5 to 13 bar.

This allows for more uniform operation, reduced pressure drops, and better operating conditions for machinery and tools. At the same time, you avoid the power peaks often seen when starting up traditional compressor solutions.

Intelligent control and monitoring

F-drive is supplied as standard with Air Control P, which monitors, visualises and documents operations.

There is also the option of expanded control with Air Control HE (optional), if you want more functions for optimisation and monitoring.

This makes it easier to keep track of operation, load and service intervals – and it contributes to high uptime.

Option for heat recovery – utilise energy more effectively

On F-Drive 18 models, integrated plate heat exchangers can be supplied for heat recovery, so that the heat from compression can be reused.

The recovered energy can, for example, be used for heating service or process water and can supplement existing oil or gas heating.
